Congrats! You're a Visionary.

What does this mean? Here’s your digest:

You are the Visionary, which means you deeply understand what motivates your employees, and you know how to “package” information in a way that inspires them (or at the very least gets the job done). You understand the art of persuasion and how to facilitate change in this manner while still being genuine and maintaining integrity.

By offering this skillset, you cultivate trust, and your employees know you will safely guide them and provide them with the "why" they need to take the next steps. Your colleagues come to you to help them with "language" and often ask you, "how do I say this?". You often take this skill set for granted because words and messaging come to you with such ease.

Your strengths include being influential, motivational, inspirational, story-telling, purposeful, intentional, and persuasive.

  • You encourage your colleagues or leadership team to see the employee's perspectives.
  • You know how to inspire employees to follow through on anything from mundane tasks to big change management projects.
  • You know how to say hard things in a way that still somehow feels uplifting.
  • You see your people. Like really see them and inspire them to embody their gifts, own their influence, and be themselves.

Ways you might unintentionally lose TRUST –

  • Not taking the time to have conversations around consistency and structure (feels so boring).
  • Not providing your employees with concrete or transparent steps about a process or policy (that are also accompanied by something in writing).
  • Not checking in about how a new process or policy is going (because you expect they will bring it to you if there's truly a problem or something's not working).
  • Not taking accountability for how the above actions impact employee workflow or their distress (it feels so unnecessary as you want them to take action and be innovative- you know you encourage, reward, and empower them to bring their own measure).
